Sensing that something was amiss, River turned to look at Noah. His face was growing increasingly pale.

River touched Noah’s forehead. Feeling the heat, she quickly placed her hands on his face.

Noah slowly opened his eyes. “What are you doing?”

River locked eyes with him and said seriously, “Your body temperature is a little high. Since my hands are cold, I’m trying to help you cool down a bit.”

A faint scoff escaped Noah’s lips as he lifted his hand to clasp River’s icy fingers. “Don’t waste your energy.”

River retracted her hand and took off her coat to cover Noah’s head.

Noah frowned as he looked at River’s thin clothing. He said sternly, “You want to freeze yourself to death?”

“No,” River replied. “I just don’t want to see you die here.”

Noah’s dark eyes widened slightly. After staring at River for a moment, he suddenly grabbed her hand again.

River was stunned. Before she could react, she was pulled into Noah’s arms.

Paige’s birthday ended with Noah being taken to the hospital..

The attending doctor did not dare meet his gaze. “Y–Yes. 1even thought there might be a mistake when the report came out. But after multiple examinations, it was confirmed. That’s why I came to inform you.

Draco gripped the report tightly. Is there any way to treat this?”

“Not currently. However, Casey is in the middle to later stages. As long as he cooperates, we should be able to keep it under control.”

Draco angrily threw the documents on the ground. Treat him! No matter how much it costs, you must make sure to keep it under control! Also, other than me and your team, no one else must know about this! Otherwise, it’s off with your head
