Tony couldn’t help but tear up as he thanked Natalie sincerely. But Natalie didn’t seem bothered; she smiled indifferently and then said in a serious tone, “All right, I understand what you’re thinking. But if you really want to thank me, you just have to work hard. I’ll be waiting for you to work hard and pay me back.”

Tony pursed his lips and smiled. He had already figured out that Natalie was a kind and gentle person. Although she often spoke with a serious tone and looked stern, in reality, she always acted with kindness.

Tony agreed sincerely and read the contents of the document again carefully. Then he said that he would go and start training immediately.

“Okay,” said Natalie. “I’ll come over later to check on you.” She liked the way Tony was getting straight down to business. As she watched him leave the office, a pleased expression surfaced on her face.

Next, she turned on her computer and logged into Tony’s social media account. She posted the trailer of the original Crossing movie that she had found the day before. At the same time, she wrote a comment on the video: “Happy third anniversary.”

After submitting the post, Natalie folded her arms. She hoped this post would attract attention on the anniversary of the popular movie’s release.

However, Tony’s social media presence was very weak. He had been out of sight for so long that he had almost disappeared from public view. The number of Tony’s followers had also decreased.

So when Natalie later went to check social media while eating her lunch, she found that there were pitifully few new comments related to Tony. Fortunately, there were still some loyal fans left who remained loyal to Tony Babel.

She saw comments like these: “Wow, I’m not seeing things, right? Tony Babel actually updated his social media!”

“Well, my eyesight isn’t great, but is this post hinting at something? Could it be that Tony Babel is about to make a comeback no matter what?”

“Tony, we always love you.”

There weren’t many comments from fans, but it wasn’t hard to see how loyal the few remaining fans were.

Natalie got the feeling that this was definitely a good start. It wasn’t just Tony’s fans who were paying attention to social media; Curtis Westing was also messing around on his phone to pass the time.

In fact, he was trying to distract himself from Mark Ellington’s criticism.

Ellington thought Curtis wasn’t good enough, that he was wasting Ellington’s money and his efforts to create opportunities for him.

When Curtis saw that Tony had updated his social media after such a long gap, he immediately interrupted Ellington, walking in on him and saying, “Look, there’s some movement from Tony B’s side. I wonder what game he’s playing.”

Ellington snatched Curtis’s phone from him. When he saw the video Natalie had posted, he scoffed disdainfully. “Ha! That’s really funny. He’s still dreaming about turning the tables on us. I’m afraid there’s no hope for him.”

But despite his flippant attitude, his heart was still filled with foreboding. After Curtis left, Ellington turned on his computer and watched the video on Tony’s social media page again, muttering sour words as he did so.

He felt that he wanted to vent his anger, but how could a single comment affect Tony Bavel, who was indulging in fantasies? All the same, he posted two sarcastic comments implying that Tony had no future at all. One of the comments said, “What era is it now? You’re still trying to relive your past. You don’t even understand the basics. You’ve no hope now, sadly.”

Meanwhile, after reading the comments of a few fans, Natalie decided to check on Tony’s training. She left the office without seeing Ellington’s comments.

She stood at the door of the training room, noting that Tony hadn’t let her down. He was throwing himself into his training, sweating profusely.

Looking at his flushed cheeks, Natalie smiled and took out her cell phone to film him working out. She really liked how Tony worked so hard to improve himself. He was completely different from before. She posted the workout video to her own social media page with a caption, “Sweat and toil.”

Natalie continued to watch Tony from the door and was delighted by his serious attitude. She called out, “Wow, Tony! You’re really putting in a lot of effort. It’s great.” Just then, she heard Mark Ellington’s voice. She frowned, not having expected him to be there.

Using drugs and alcohol to pull Natalie & Bryce into a sexual assault situation, plus the kidnapping of Natalie & Liam for starters. When will Bryce discover that Natalie gave birth early to Liam and that the timeline actually fits for him being the father. How will Nick react when he realizes he didnt support his fiance when she claimed to have been set up on their wedding night and now is engaged to the devil. What is the father going to do when he realizes his step daughter has created this entire mess. Will he apologize to Natalie? Will he support his step daughter going to jail? Did the assistant really discard the evidence from the hotel that night or does the assistant take it to his boss and show the woman he married is the woman from that night. This book could go on forever and be a page turner from start to finish.

  26. What’s the use in reading a story that never gets updated. It’s been a month.

    All these stories are the same. Total waste of time. Hard copy books are still the best. Atleast if it’s a captivating story I can finish it.

  76. It’s better to end this novel by adding 10-15 new chapters. You just hung it between nowhere. Just add few write up and end it on some node. I read more than 2 novel here whose ending was on chapters 35 around. And it’s so good to read it completely. So it’s better to end it if you have nothing more to explore on your mind. Please consider this option.
