“I will go as a doctor!” Elijah said in a cold, lethal voice that made Lavin jump.
“Are you a doctor?” he asked warily.
“No, but I will pose as one.”
“I won’t allow it!” Lavin refused. “We already have six passengers aboard it who were hijacked. I can’t let you get into that trap knowingly!” He was beginning to get suspicious of Hunter’s secretary. The man looked like he could k*ill a dozen people with his bare h*ands. As for Hunter, he looked like he could simply k*ill the whole unit and walk away easily with no regrets. There was something very animalistic about both of them.
“Even if you won’t allow me, I will go,” Elijah informed. “As such you need a rescue team. There would be no one better than Hunter and me.”
“But this is ridiculous! The team that I have formed comprises marine soldiers. They are highly trained officers,” Lavin countered. “I can’t let two civilians join them.”
Elijah was about to take a step towards Lavin to threaten him when Hunter stopped him by placing a h*and on his shoulder. He said to Lavin, “Officer, you can’t stop both of us. If you like you can call your government and ask them for permission. I highly doubt they would deny.”
Lavin’s m*outh fell to the floor. These guys had such deep connections? Still not convinced, he called his superiors and was scolded profusely for not allowing Hunter and Elijah to go on the rescue mission. He s*ucked in sharp air. “Okay!” he said. Be ready in an hour.
Hunter gave him a t*ight nod and came out of the room along with Elijah. He instructed his warriors. “Hire a yacht that will stay off the radar and stay in this area,” he showed them the coordinates of the place where the submarine was seen for the last time. “When we signal you, come.”
Along with Hunter and five, armed marines, Elijah boarded a helicopter that flew them over the sea to reach the nearest spot from where they would take a boat to the submarine.
Hunter opened his mind link with Elijah and said, ‘I will go east while you go south. Both of us are going to cover the distance of 30 knots in less than an hour. Whosoever spots the submarine will indicate the other. Is that clear?”
Elijah gave him a tense nod. Ever since they had boarded the helicopter, he was only looking down at the vast sea to see traces of turbulence. Usually submarines didn’t come into the sea to hijack, because the sea had very limited space. He was sure that the submarine was headed towards the main ocean in order to get into larger waters. ‘I will go to the west,’ he replied. ‘I highly suspect that the submarine would be going in that direction towards the Atlantic.’
Hunter narrowed his eyes. ‘That is a high possibility, but one can’t be a hundred percent sure.’ Elijah clenched his jaws. Hunter was right but he was going to go west towards the Atlantic. The helicopter hovered over a spot on the sea until all of them were lowered into a boat using a long metallic rope. The armed marines were in a diving suit. The boat sped to the west according to the instructions given by the leader of the team. Half an hour later, the leader said, “We will be diving in this spot to trace the submarine. Would you like to join us?” He started adjusting the oxygen cylinder as others wore various diving equipment around their body.
Hunter glanced at Elijah. “Yes, we will,” he said. There was a knowing glance between the two. Before the marine could tell them to wear the diving suits, Hunter had already dived in the sea.
“Hey!” The marine called after him, shocked. He looked at Elijah with wide eyes. “Is he mad? He will be eaten up by the sharks!”
Elijah ignored the marine. His gaze went to the west where the sea met the Atlantic. He took a deep breath in and dived in the sea. He heard the marine shouting his name but with his powerful strokes, he was far away from them in a very short time, heading to rescue his mate.
He must have swum for not more than thirty minutes when he came across turbulence in the sea. The marines would take forever to reach this place.
He stopped swimming as he whipped his head around to see where the disturbance was maximum. The surface of the water was quiet but he could feel the pressure whirl on his feet. He remembered that the captain had said that the ship was a hundred feet below the surface.
Elijah took in a deep breath and dove inside the water. When he was about twenty feet deep, he let his Lycan free.
With a muffled roar beneath the sea his Lycan took over. He snapped his head around. His vision pierced the water. He sniffed inside and picked up the peculiar metal smell in the west. His guess was correct. He hurled himself like a loose arrow in the water and swam as fast as possible to the submarine.
Mia was huddled up in her room along with other passengers. All of them were absolutely quiet. She could smell their fear and it was choking. If she tried, she could rip the door of the room and set them free, but doing that risked revealing her identity. She started forming plans upon plans to get out of here. The pirates had shoved her inside the room and then disappeared. They came once to give them all food and take them one by one to the bathroom. After that, they were all locked up again. “I want to go to the bathroom,” she said in a small voice. “They won’t allow you, girl!” said a man. “Just keep sitting quietly until we are freed!”
“But I can’t stop myself,” she whined. She got up to knock on the door.
“Are you f*ucking mad?” The man growled. “Do you want us all dead?”
She gave him a puppy eye look. “Mister, I really must go to the bathroom. I feel like I am about to get my periods.” The man blinked at her as a blush formed on his face out of embarrassment. He let out a rough exhale and sagged in his place, waving a h*and as if saying, be-my-guest.
Mia knocked the door again softly. There was no reply. She knocked it h*arder this time. Five minutes later she picked up the sound of boots on the metal floor. The door opened and two pirates with guns aimed at them came into view.
“What’s it?” one of them barked.
“I want to go to the bathroom. Please,” she said, biting her l*ip. “I think I am on my periods.”
The two pirates looked at her and then burst out into a bawdy laughter. The one on the left grabbed her upper arm and pulled her out of the door roughly. He closed the door behind her and shoved her in the front. “Come on! Let’s show you the bathroom.”
Mia stumbled but recovered quickly. She went out with them to the bathroom that was one floor up. She noticed that no one was there on this floor. She started closing the door but was stopped by one of the pirates. “No. No. Girl,” he said with a lewd smile. “We would like to see you peeing in front of us.”
She gasped. “But that’s not right,” she said, blinking her eyes.
They laughed. The one who was not holding the door, approached her. “Let us determine what is right and what is not. Lower your p*ants and let us see your lady parts.” He l*icked his l*ips as his gaze roamed down her body.
Mia bit her l*ip. She said suggestively, “What I mean is that you both can come inside and we can have fun.”
The two men exchanged a look. They scanned the corridor and then quickly entered the bathroom and closed the door behind them. It was a small bathroom. They were all packed inside. They both started opening their p*ant buttons when Mia lunged at them.
