“Oscar loves you so much and since you want to be with him so bad, I wish you both all the happiness in the world.”
Victoria smiled. “Thank you.”
“I still see him as your baby Daddy until he proves me wrong.” “You’re such an asshole!’
Gabriel chuckled.
“I’m serious about that but I love the fact that he’s not being a coward. He is taking responsibility and trying to do everything in his power to keep you and Sophie safe. He is not making excuses for what happened but rather, thinking of how to make things better. I am really impressed because that is what any real man would do.”
Two Days Later
“We have something to tell you, baby,” Vicky said to Sophie who refused to leave her side since she came back from the hospital earlier today. The little girl has been super clingy to her and Oscar.
“What is it, Mommy?” You are not going to leave me alone again, right?” She stared at Vicky with puppy dog eyes.
Vee smiled, after which she placed a kiss on Sophie’s cheek. They were all in the living room, sitting on the couch, with Sophie in the middle of her parents.
“No, my love. We are never leaving you alone.” She assured, “Okay, what do you want to tell me?”
Vee stared at Oscar who consented by giving a small nod.
“How do you feel about having two younger siblings?”
Little Sophie stared at her Mom, then at her Dad, and back at her mom.
“Two siblings? Does that mean there is going to be another baby after baby brother?”
Seeing that her baby girl was almost right, Vicky decided to clear the air. “There are two babies in mommy’s tummy.”
Sophie’s eyes went wide.
“Two babies?” She brought up two fingers.
Oscar and Vicky chuckled at the same time at their daughter’s excitement. “Yes, two babies. They will be with us in a couple of months.” “Wow!! Two chubby baby brothers.”
“You are really your father’s daughter.” Oscar smiled, placing a kiss on Sophie’s cheek, ignoring the playful glare Vee was giving him.
“It can be girls or a girl and a boy,” Vee said to her daughter. “Two beautiful baby boys.” Sophie grinned.
Victoria mentally facepalmed.
“Told you!” Oscar smirked at her.
“You both are making assumptions based on your desires,”
“Join the winning team”
Vicky playfully rolled her eyes at him.
“I’m excited to be a big sister to two Babies. I am going to play with them all the time and we are going to have so much fun.” The little girl grinned.
Vicky smiled, “I’m glad you are excited about them.”
“That means you
“Okay, Daddy!”
have to think of more names, my love.”
Sophie spent some more time with her parents and when it was her bedtime, Oscar offered to.tuck her in since Vicky was still on a very strict bedrest.
“You know mommy is still a bit under the weather?” Oscar said the moment his daughter was settled on the bed. He was seated beside her.
She nodded.
“Good. I want us to take great care of her and make her happy.” “We can buy her a present.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
“But I have something to show you.”
“What is it?” Sophie smiled eagerly.
“It’s a surprise for your mom.”
“Can I see it? Please, Daddy.”
Oscar tucked his hand in his pocket and brought out a small square-shaped box.
He opened it so the little girl would have a glance at what was in there. “Wowwwww!!!” Sophie smiled even more.
“This is so beautiful, Can I touch it, Daddy?”
“Sure, but be careful.”
Little Sophie nodded with smiles all over her face. She brought her finger close to the box and brushed it through the billion-dollar jewelry.
“You like it?” Oscar asked his daughter even though it was very evident from her reaction.
The little girl nodded, “Yes, Daddy.”
“So you are going to get married to Mommy?”
“That’s if she says Yes to me.”
“But Mommy likes you!” Sophie stated as a matter of fact.
“It’s one thing to like someone and it is another thing to want to spend the rest of your life with the person.”
“So you are scared?”
“Not really.” Oscar chuckled at his daughter’s choice of words. “I’m just nervous.”
“Really really nervous.”
“Do you want me to talk to mommy for you?”
“No…no…this is something I need to do alone. And this is a Secret so you can’t tell her about it.”
“I felt the need to show you this because I wanted your consent. I love your mommy so much and I want her to be my wife.”
“Wow, there is going to be a wedding. Can I be the flower girl, please, and can we have lots of cakes? Please, Daddy, I promise that I’m going to remain a good girl.”
Oscar chuckled, not believing that his daughter was making this about her already.
“Yes, you can be the flower girl if mommy agrees to marry me and of course, there’s going to be lots of cakes for us to eat.”
“Cool!” She grinned.
“So do I have your blessing to get married to Mommy?”
“I like you, Daddy. Mommy likes you too. And yes, I want my Dada and my mama to get married so we can stay together forever. I don’t want you to leave us. Please don’t leave us, Daddy.”
“I’m not going to leave you, my love. You all are my family and I promise to be with you every step of the way.”
“Mommy likes you so much.”
“How do you know that?”
Sophie shrugged, “She looks at you when you are not staring, She smiles more when she’s around you.”
Oscar chuckled, “Really?”
“Yes, Daddy. Mommy likes you too, so you don’t have to be scared.”
“This is also very pretty.” She referred to the jewelry. “Mommy is going to like it.”
“Thank you for your kind words.”
“I’m happy mommy has you. You are going to cuddle her to sleep every night, right, Daddy?”
Oscar chuckled, “Yes, my love.”
He closed the box and returned it to his pocket, keeping it safe.
“The twins. I know you want them to be boys but should we have two girls or a boy and a girl, you are going to love them, right?”/
“I’m going to have twin baby brothers!!”
“Come on, Sophie. We need to be prepared for both sides
