Hearing her words, Logan frowned slightly and asked, “What tricks are you playing?”
Rosalyn shook her head. “There’s no tricks. I just don’t want to sleep with you. I want to be safe.”
She pointed out his thoughts directly in front of all the guests, which made Logan a little embarra**ed.
Logan looked displeased, but after considering his options, it didn’t matter where she set the address, he could make her submit to him.
Thinking of this, Logan stopped all his worrying.
He looked up and glanced at the newlyweds walking towards them, then smiled warmly. He lowered his voice to a whisper and threatened Rosalyn, “You better bring the contract like a good girl, or my friends will turn their dream wedding into a nightmare.”
After that, he gently tapped the bridge of Rosalyn’s nose. On the surface he seemed quite doting, but his eyes were full of danger.
Rosalyn held back her fury and disgust, and nodded obediently.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Taylor. I’ll be there”
With her guarantee, Logan took his men and left.

As soon as the door sh*t, the guests in the hall began to whisper amongst themselves and point fingers at Rosalyn.
Rosalyn did not take it to heart. Instead, she turned to look at Polly and Daniel, the pair walking toward her.
“Rosalyn, who was that guy?” Polly looked at Rosalyn worriedly. Her instincts told her that they were not good people.
“The president of the Taylor Group. He came to me for an important contract. That’s all.” Rosalyn patted her hand with a smile.
When she said this, she deliberately raised her voice.
There was a small microphone on Polly’s wedding dress. When she got close, her voice would come from the microphone.
The guests heard her explanation and started discussing again, saying that Polly’s friend was amazing, and how impressive she was to know the president of the Taylor Group.
Daniel’s hometown was in the suburbs of Arcadia. They didn’t personally know any big shots, but they knew of the richest man in Arcadia.
However, Polly still felt uneasy. She always felt that things in the business world Rosalyn lived in were not so easy to fix.
If it was really like what Rosalyn had said, and all Mr. Taylor wanted was a simple contract, why did the president of the Taylor Group bring so many people here?
Plus, he was touching Rosalyn’s waist!
His actions looked very perverse. To Polly, it did not seem like he was romantically pursuing Rosalyn, but instead threatening her.
The more Polly thought about it, the more worried she became. She took off the microphone on her wedding dress, held Rosalyn’s hand, and looked at her worriedly.
“Rosalyn, if you’re in danger, you have to tell me. Even if I have to risk my life, I’ll help you!”
Rosalyn always seemed to attract bad people and relationships, ever since she was young.
In the past, with Ryan’s protection, no one dared to approach her.
But now that Ryan was gone, only she could take on the responsibility of protecting her.
At Polly’s words, Rosalyn’s heart warmed, and tears welled up in her eyes.
She was afraid that Polly would be even more worried if she saw her tears, so she quickly replied with an “okay” and pushed her to continue the wedding.
After exchanging rings at the ceremony and popping champagne at the reception, the wedding was coming to an end.
Rosalyn was relieved the day could end happily for Polly and Daniel, watching as they greeted all their guests with smiles of wedded bliss on their faces
The wedding went off without a hitchy. The next thing she needed to do was to deal with Logan…
She followed the wedding car, sent Polly and the others to the wedding house, and then took a taxi home.
It was the dowry she gave to Polly. She must have secretly put it back in her wardrobe.
Rosalyn picked up the bank card and couldn’t help a mile from gracing her cheeks.
Polly was such a kind and gracious person. She only knew how to give and never asked for anything in return. She didn’t even want to take advantage of Daniel.
Daniel paid the down payment for the wedding house, and she would pay for the renovation. Even if her name was not on the deed of that house, she would still pay the loan with Daniel without complaint or regret.
Rosalyn always thought she was like a giving older sister, always making people feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Rosalyn gripped the bank card tightly, thinking that after tonight, she would be gone.
If there was no word left for Polly, she would definitely find it hard to let go in the future.
With that thought in mind, Polly sat down at her desk, picked up a pen, and began to write her suicide note.
Rosalyn used two pages of paper, writing down every single thing she wanted to say.
After she finished writing, she put the bank card into an envelope, along with her posthumous letter and wrote on the back “To Polly.”
After thinking for a while, she took out another piece of paper, wanting to write something for Andrew. But she didn’t know what to say.
In the end, she only wrote three words, alongside his name. She put down the pen, folded the letter, and put it in her drawer.
After she left, Polly would likely come to clean up her belongings. When that time came, she would find out what Rosalyn had left for her.
After doing all this, Rosalyn took a handful of medicine. Tonight’s task was heavy, and she had to stabilize her body. Otherwise, all her efforts would be in vain.
After taking the medicine, she opened the locked desk drawer and took out the small bottle of sleeping pills that she had saved for this night.
After putting the sleeping pills, the fake contract, and a dagger into her bag, she took out her phone and booked a hotel room.
She went to the hotel to decorate it first and then texted Logan the address.
[Mr. Taylor, Room 2088 of the Imperial Hotel. I’m waiting for you.]
She thought Logan would come straight over when he saw the text message, but strangely, he replied with a question mark.
[?]
Rosalyn frowned slightly. Didn’t he agree to get the contract tonight?
Just as she was about to text again, her phone buzzed with another message: [Wait for me.]
Rosalyn then dismissed her doubts, put down her phone, and took out the sleeping pills.
After pouring the medicine into a wine gla**, she picked up her dagger and slowly crushed them with the tip of the blade.
Last time, she had planned to fight Logan to the death, but she had not been well–prepared enough. This time, she was ready.
She didn’t want to be played by him any longer, nor did she want to involve Polly. She had no other choice but to kill him!
