She didn’t answer as she scanned him. “What do you want?”
He pursed his l*ips as he nodded. “I like it. Straight to the point.”
Maggie waited for him to speak up, wondering where she had seen him.
“I have come from Blowing Rock. You see I have lost my daughter or shall we say that she ran away. I’ve been looking for her everywhere and my search led me to meet someone from the Pine pack. He told me that if I wanted to know about Lia, I should meet you.”
Maggie jerked her head back. “Lia?”
“That’s right. Lia,” he repeated with a sly smile.
“Whom did you meet?” she asked, bewildered as to who would tell him so much.
“Ah, don’t worry about it. But I can tell you this much that I have been trying to find her for the past two and a half years. And finally I got a small lead, which is you.”
“Me?” Thousands of scenarios came to her mind.
“Yes,” he said, leaning forward. “I think you and I have a common enemy called Hawk.”
Maggie was even more surprised. “You know about Hawk too?”
“Yes,” he said, rubbing his ear.
“Then you are wrong,” she chuckled. “Hawk is not my enemy. I love him,” she said with obsession clear in her expression. “It is Lia who I hate. So I guess this conversation is over.”
Harry’s eyes widened. “You hate Lia?”
“More than anything in this world.”
Harry tilted his head and scratched his beard. “The conversation begins now, Maggie.” He smiled ominously. “How about we make a deal?”
She took a deep breath in. Someone had come to make a deal with her. This was getting interesting. Maybe, she could make a nice deal with him and get her freedom. “I am interested.”
Harry laughed quietly. “I know you are an intelligent girl.” He glanced at the guard who was watching them with doubt on his face. “How about I come tomorrow to discuss the deal? Time is running out today.” She nodded slowly. “It’s okay.”
When Harry left, Maggie’s hopes went really high. She could taste her freedom in her mind. She couldn’t sleep that night as she continued to think about Harry and the deal she would make with him.
Two months later.
“I have to go shopping!” Lia whined as she threw her clothes out of her closet. “I have nothing to wear!” She looked at the pile of clothes behind her. Both Arthur and Hawk were looking puzzled. “What?” she asked. “That’s how girls do?”
Arthur scratched his head. “But you can’t find even a single dress in that pile?” He pointed at the pile that covered the entire alley. “Goddess, even I don’t have that many clothes.” But in his heart, he loved to pamper her. In fact, both he and Hawk. They would take her out shopping every now and then. Initially she was hesitant, but they didn’t know that by encouraging her, they had made her a shopping monster. But they loved it.
“I can’t,” she whined again as she sat down on the floor with a pout.
“F*uck, she’s pouting,” Hawk said, rubbing his h*ardness. His p*ants tented immediately.
“Take me to the market. Now!” she demanded. “I want to wear something nice for the frat party. This is going to be my first ever frat party. I’ve heard that girls out there wear very fashionable dresses.”
“If you want, I can cancel it,” Arthur shrugged. He was recently invited by the soccer captain to play for his college team.
“What? No! I want to go.” She got up and turned to look at him only to find Hawk standing behind her. “Hawk!”
“Baby girl, I need your l*ips on my c*ock.” He started opening his zip.
She bit her bottom l*ip. “Okay, but you have to take me out to the market and then dinner.”
He slid his p*ants down. “Whatever you want, baby girl” His e*rection sprang free. She knelt on the floor and grabbed his h*ardness. He hissed when she wrapped her l*ips around it. Arthur came behind her and opened his p*ants.
In the evening they headed to the mall that was closest to the college. Lia ended up buying five dresses. They went to the roof-top restaurant for dinner.
“Thank you!” she said with a smile, looking at the selection of dishes. Her mates really fed her so well. Arthur was sitting next to her. His h*and slipped on her t*highs. “Is there anything specific you want to have?”
“Nope!” she said and forked a shrimp. As she was about to eat it, a movement caught and she paled. The man rushed out, lowering his cap. He looked like… Garry.
“Lia?” Arthur grasped her t*high as she shuddered. Blood drained from her face. Her heart was beating so fast that he became restless.
Hawk turned back sharply in the direction of her gaze, his l*ips peeling back in a silent snarl, his eyes scanning the whole crowd in the restaurant.
“Lia?” Arthur shook her l*eg slightly. “What did you see?”
Her breath became ragged as past memories flooded her. The way he tried to r*ape her, the way she escaped and the way he came after her. Clamping her teeth, she closed her eyes, trying to tamper her emotions. “It’s nothing,” she muttered. “I am imagining things.”
