Filed to story: The Luna Mated to Triplet Alphas Novel
I was shocked. I knew some wolves had human mates.
“I didn’t know humans could become wolves.”
I said.
“Only the wolf paired with the human has a chance to turn their human mate into a wolf, but it can be pretty risky. If their mate doesn’t fully trust in their bond, then the wolf DNA won’t accept the change and it will tear their mate apart from the inside.”
dad explained. Sabrina nodded.
“You must have been pregnant before the change happened, so when Layla was developing she had both human and wolf DNA that split.”
Sabrina said.
“How can we fix that?”
mom asked.
Sabrina looked at me straight in the eye.
“There are two ways, The first one would be the most painful and that would be to take your father’s wolf DNA and inject it right into all of your bones at once, but you would have the same chance of survival as your mother did when she was turned.”
She paused so I could absorb the information of the first option.
“Ok, and the other choice?”
I asked her. She brought out a small beaker with a lavender colored liquid from her satchel she always carried.
“This is an elixir I made using herbs from the forest. We would mix your fathers wolf DNA in this and I would infuse it with my witch’s essence. Then you would drink it. It would give you a better chance of survival, but there may be some side effects to it. it will coat your bones from the inside, making them just as strong as they need to be.”
Sabrina said.
My parents looked at me. It was my choice.
“I trust you Sabrina. I will take the potion.”
I said. Sabrina nodded and with a special tool she extracted my dad’s wolf DNA and mixed it in with the potion. The mixture changes color. It went from a lavender purple to a lite green. Sabrina then pulled a small vial out of her satchel and added it to the potion. It changed colors again. It went from the lite green to pure white.
“Now once you drink this you may be asleep for a while. Your body will be resting while the potion does its job on your bones.”
Sabrina said, I nodded and took the beaker from her. I looked around the room.
“Sabrina, thank you for doing this for me.”
I said with a smile then I threw my head back and drank the potion in one go.
~End of Flashback~
Jess’s Pov
“Everything went black after I drunk the potion, the next time I woke up. My parents told me that 2 months had gone by.” Layla said. I could feel my eyes widen with surprise. “The potion put you in a 2 month coma?” I asked. She smiled and nodded. “But during the 2 months I was asleep, the potion did what it needed to do. By the time I woke up I could already stand on my own.” she beamed at the memory. “Though the first thing she did was try to walk and she fell flat on her face.” I heard a voice come from behind us. Sabrina had walked in.
“Good morning Angel.” I smiled at her. She gave me a groggy smile then waved to me as she yawned. Layla laughed and continued. “Yeah, I fell a few times, it had been so long since I could walk I was too excited.” she said. I nodded then I realized something. “Layla you said you had dark brown hair before, your hair is snow white now. How?” I asked.
“Sabrina did say there would be side effects. The potion had brought out my wolf soul a lot sooner. I still couldn’t shift until I was of age, but it changed my hair from brown to white and my eyes from brown to blue, just like my wolf’s fur and eyes.” She said. I nod “So what is it that makes you so strong?” I asked next. “The potion coated her bones and they became really strong that the extra coating soaked into her muscles. Give her incredible strength even for a wolf.” Sabrina answered “Cool.” I said.
Layla changed the subject back to us giving her grandkids and Hero looked at his parents and changed the subject again. “Dud you know that Nathan and Brandon found their mates while we were there?”
Training begins
Layla jumped in her seat excited.
“Oh who are they?”
Rico chimed in again trying to get back to our original topic.
“My lady, I will tell you if you could help us with some duties that need to be taken care of first.”
Suddenly it was like Layla had switch mode in the middle of the conversation.
“Oh I’m sorry, of course. What were you guys talking about before I entered the dining room and got a bit too excited?”
Rico smiled.
“I was just telling our alphas and our luna that we should hold her Luna Ceremony as soon as we can. That way she will be inducted into the pack and can mind link other pack members. With William in the wind she will need a way to call for help when she is alone. We don’t want to crowd our luna with bodyguards all the time because that could stunt her training with her powers.”
I tilted my head in confusion.
“How would it affect my powers Rico?”
I asked.
“If you are under constant watch, even if you agree it is for your safety, the pressure will get to you sooner or later, and start causing strain of your gifts. Gifts like yours, Sasha’s, and mine are driven by our emotions. Even if you could lie about how you’re feeling, your powers will respond to what is truly inside.”
I nod my head, then Felix and Layla jump in.
“We will handle all the preparations for the Luna Ceremony for Jessabelle. That way she can concentrate on her training and settling in her new home.”
Felix said. Layla nodded. They both smiled kindly at me. I smiled brightly and then I heard Rico laughing. I looked over to him and I realized that the fruit in the bowl down the table was floating and spinning around.
I started to laugh myself.
“Let’s try something. Lady Jessablle, try making the fruit make a shape in the air.”
Rico said. I was happy to try, but a bit nervous to have an addutance. ‘Midnight how would I get the fruit to go where I want it to?’ ‘Try thinking about the shape first and where each piece of fruit would go.’ she said. Alright. I thought of a simple circle, and the fruit did what I wanted. It floated and made a circle.
“Great job for a first go. Your gifts must be really strong if they are not even fully awake yet.”
Rico said.
“They are quite strong indeed.”
I hear a voice from behind. I jumped a bit and lost my concentration on the fruit. It all tumbled and fell on the table. I turned my head and saw Angel and Sasha come into the dining room with Nathan and Brandon in tow.
“You did that on purpose Angel. I was getting good.”
I faked anger at her and she smirked in return.
“Can’t have you getting all too cocky now can we. I think your head is big enough.”
she countered. Then we both burst out laughing. Sasha stood at the end of the table far away from us.
“Now Jess, try using your powers to throw an apple at me.”
She said with her arms crossed in front of her.
I focused on a red apple right in front of me. I pictured it lifting up and I snapped my head in Sasha’s direction. I guess I should have just lightly tossed my head towards Sasha, because when I snapped my head the apple zoomed across the room and almost nailed her in the face. Thankfully Sasha dogged it by leaning to the side and the apple became applesauce on the wall. Everyone in the room started laughing their asses off, even Sasha.
“Oops. Sorry Sasha.”
