Aimee stared at her arm for a long time before pouting. She did this because she wanted to devote herself to medicine.
It took her a long time to recover. Aimee hid the stuff and went into the bathroom to wash up.
She couldn’t let her skin be exposed, so she found a long-sleeved shirt and put it on.
After she came to the dinning room, she was seen by Camdyn and he asked, “Aimee, it’s almost 40 degrees today. You’re dressed like this, don’t you feel hot?”
“Grandpa, I am not feeling hot.” Aimee said.
In fact, it was not supposed to be hot at home, but her body was so special that she couldn’t feel the cold, but she couldn’t do anything about the heat.
She put a whole piece of ice patch on her back, which relieved her discomfort of being too hot from wearing long sleeves.
And it was all because of Patrick.
Aimee stirred the polenta in the bowl, saw that Camdyn had already had breakfast, so she put down the spoon, looked at Camdyn, and said, “Grandpa, there is something I want to discuss with you.”
“What is it?” asked Camdyn.
“Here is what I plan to do. I want to try and heal Mr. Hayden’s body, Grandpa.” Aimee said.
Camdyn was stunned for a moment when he heard the words, and then said, “Aimee, it’s not that I don’t trust you. I know you are a good doctor. It’s just, for Pat’s situation, I have sought out famous doctors from all over the world. But it did not work out. Aimee, I don’t want to be disappointed again.”
Aimee pursed her lips, fully understanding Camdyn’s thought.
She said, “Grandpa, I don’t want to tell you that I will definitely be able to cure Mr. Hayden. I just want to help him as a doctor. In this way, until you find a more capable doctor, I can guarantee Mr. Hayden’s health will not deteriorate. His body will not be so uncomfortable, and it will be prepared for better treatment in the future.”
Camdyn nodded and looked at Aimee gratefully, “Aimee, you are willing to treat Pat. I’m really happy.”
Aimee smiled and said, “Grandpa, you know Mr. Hayden’s resistance to doctor. I’m afraid he will be very angry if I reveal my profession.”
Originally, Aimee could treat Patrick secretly, but it was not a secret that she was a doctor. In some places, Camdyn’s cooperation was needed. Therefore, after a long struggle, Aimee decided to make it clear with Camdyn first.
Camdyn also understood Aimee’s intentions, nodded, and said, “Okay, let’s tell Pat today. If he dares to lose his temper with you, I will help you deal with him.”
Aimee smiled and thanked Camdyn, “Thank you grandpa, then I will go to work first. When I come back in the evening, I will study Mr. Hayden’s case and make a treatment plan for him.”
Camdyn nodded and watched Aimee go out in relief.
A butler, Riley, said, “Mr. Hayden, I didn’t expect Miss Reed to be quite caring.”
Camdyn glanced at him and said, “She’s not the same as the Reeds. She’s worth my effort to find her as your wife.”
“Mr. Hayden, your move is too risky. What if the Reed family sends another lady over?” Riley said.
“You still don’t know them well enough. They are afraid of losing good things. Marrying Pat means living a life of a widow. They are not willing to do this kind of thing by themselves.” Camdyn said.
Riley sighed and said no more.
Luckily, things were going smoothly according to Camdyn’s plan, which was the best out of the worst.

Aimee was working in the outpatient department today. She had been diagnosing patients all day long. She hastily ate a piece of bread at noon, without taking a sip of water. During her lunch break, she spent all her time researching the treatment plan for Patrick.
It was finally time to get off work, and the last patient was sent away. Aimee took off her white coat and rushed out of the hospital.
She was hailing a car on her mobile phone when a car stopped in front of her. The window on the driver’s seat was lowered. The man poked his head out and asked Aimee, “Dr. Reed, where are you going? I’ll drive you there.”
“No, Dr.Thomas, my car will be here soon.” Aimee said.
She raised her mobile phone, indicating that the car she had ordered would arrive soon.
Liam Thomas seemed to be stubborn with Aimee today, insistently wanting to let Aimee take his car, “Dr. Reed, we are colleagues. Don’t always reject people like this. I just give you a ride, and I won’t do anything to you.”
Aimee didn’t want to have too many words with him, and now she was even annoyed.
She said, “Dr. Thomas, I’m really in a hurry. I won’t bother you. I’ll go first. Bye.”
Coincidentally, the car she ordered arrived, and Aimee got into the car without looking back. After telling the driver her destination, she then bowed her head and typed something on her mobile phone.
The driver kept checking the road conditions, and soon realized that a black Land Rover was following them.
He asked aloud, “Hey, young girl, did you quarrel with your boyfriend? The car behind has been following us.”
When he parked the car just now and saw them talking, he naturally thought that they were very familiar. Plus they were a handsome man and a beautiful woman, he automatically regarded them as a couple.
Aimee turned her head when she heard this, and saw Liam’s car following them.
She tapped a few times on her mobile phone, and after sending a message, she said to the driver, “He’s not my boyfriend. He’s just a colleague. Maybe he should go this way too.”
Hearing what Aimee said, the driver sensed that her tone was calm, without any anger, and she really didn’t look like she had quarreled with her boyfriend.
Knowing he was overthinking, he said nothing more.
However, when turning, their car had just turned around when there was a violent crash happening from behind.
The driver subconsciously looked in the rearview mirror and saw that the Land Rover collided with a pickup truck.
The tires of the truck were still turning in place. It seemed that the brakes had failed, and the car body was dented by the Land Rover. The situation was tragic.
Aimee naturally also heard the voice behind, but she didn’t have the slightest curiosity, and only focused on her mobile phone screen.
The driver originally wanted to have a conversation with her, complaining about the tragedy of the truck.
Unexpectedly, Aimee was clearly a girl with Internet addiction, and only immersed in her mobile phone.
The driver pouted, feeling a little bit annoyed.
Aimee looked at the message on the phone. It was a conversation she had with a person named Matilda Duncan.
Aimee: Stop him.
Matilda: The fly is caught, bring me the money.
