Suppressing his emotions, Noah checked the GPS location on the computer.

‘International Residence? Did Daniella commission someone for this?‘ he wondered.

Filled with hostility, he clenched his fists. ‘Did I not give her enough money or something? Why is she using such a lowly method to hack into the company’s system so she can ask for more money?

Seeing his father’s unpleasant expression, Axel felt relieved as they reached the kindergarten five minutes later.

After walking into the class, Axel stared at Tyler nonchalantly and said, “You shouldn’t have done that.”

“You hacked into my father’s company network,” Axel replied coldly.

Tyler remained calm and asked, “Are you admitting you’re skilled in hacking, too?”

Vigilantly, Axel inquired, “What are you implying?”

Tyler’s smile didn’t fade. “Angst, you’re my wealthy patron, but I can choose to hack into your father’s company network.”

Axel panicked and warned, “My father will be furious-”

Tyler interrupted him and retorted, “Am I supposed to do nothing while he bullies my mommy?”

In the afternoon, River and Kenny returned to the company. They were exhausted after visiting several clothing factories, but none had caught their attention.

Kenny took a few sips of water before suggesting, “We know the clothing production process very well Why don’t we establish a factory ourselves, G?”

“We can set up the factory, but we need someone to monitor its operations, Kenny. Both of us are needed here at the company. Which one of your subordinates would you trust to manage the factory?” River asked.

Kenny’s team was skilled in design, garment fitting, and cutting, but they lacked expertise in managing the clothing factory production line.

River felt troubled because the clothing factory was of utmost importance, and she couldn’t entrust it to a stranger.

Kenny set down his mug and replied, “I would do anything for you!”

River felt relieved with Kenny around–she could worry less.

With two hours remaining, she immediately went online to search for a clothing factory up for sale.

She found three factories and made appointments with their owners before heading to the kindergarten to pick up her children.

Fifteen minutes later, she parked her car at the kindergarten entrance.

She arrived early, with ten minutes still left before the class ended.

As she stepped out of the car, she spotted Daniella hurrying to the door.

Shortly after, Alice came out, holding Axel’s hand.

Daniella tried to grab Axel’s hand, but he evaded her, refusing to comply.

“Axel, your dad is busy, so he asked me to come to pick you up. Can you be nice?” Daniella asked patiently.

“No,” Axel firmly held onto Alice’s hand, unwilling to let go.

Alice found herself in a dilemma and squatted down, coaxing Axel. “Axel, your mom is here to pick you up. Can you go home with her, okay?”

Axel pursed his lips and simply replied, “No.”

Daniella felt embarrassed. “Axel, please don’t embarrass me in front of so many parents.”

Axel took two steps back, keeping his head down.

Daniella impatiently tried to grab him.

Fear washed over Axel’s face, causing him to grow pale.

In an attempt to break free, he accidentally stepped on Daniella’s foot. She released him due to the pain, and he ran toward River, who was wearing shades.

River was stunned to see Axel running towards her. ‘Why is he running toward me?‘

Daniella’s face contorted, and she retorted, “Who are you? It’s none of your business!”

“I am-” River began to explain but was interrupted by Axel.

“She’s Daddy’s friend!” Axel hurriedly explained. “Daddy told me this morning that she’s going to pick me up.”

Axel’s flushed face showed how fast he spoke.

Daniella glared at River, paying no attention to Axel’s words.

“I’ll say it again. Give me my child!” Daniella demanded.

“I won’t give him to someone who abuses him,” River replied firmly.

The surrounding parents overheard their exchange, leading to discussions among them.

“She abuses the child?”

“No wonder the child doesn’t want to go with her earlier.”

“Is she the boy’s mother? I think she’s a stepmother.”

“It’s better if the child goes with his father’s friend. Maybe he’ll get beaten up if he goes back with his mother!”

“Yes! Children’s reactions don’t lie.”

Daniella’s face turned livid as she glared at River. “Don’t let me find out who you are! If I do, you’ll suffer!”

With that, she quickly ran away, unable to handle the criticism.

River looked at Axel, who had buried his head in her arms. Her heart softened, “Your mom is gone.

“No” Axel muttered. “She’s not my mother.”
